Would you pay over 200,000 dollars for an apple computer? It looks like there are people willing to pay this price.  The difference is that this one is not an ipod or ipad or imac, this is one of the first hand made apple computers.  It is said that there are only 200 of them made then.

The computer is on auction at with the auction price expected around 150,000 British pounds.  The unit was hand built in 1976 by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.  The unit was shipped from the garage of Apple Chief Steve Jobs' parents' house, according to the auction site.

The auction site says: "It is not clear how many Apple-1s were sold, but by April 1977 the price was dropped to $475, and it continued to be sold through August 1977, despite the introduction of the Apple II in April 1977 (a major advance with integrated keyboard, sound, a plastic case, and eight internal expansion slots). It was officially discontinued by October 1977."
